The Carol Studded Sandals

Why on earth do i have not seen this! Well actually, when i saw these sandals last summer on the feet of Dutch fashion blogger Lizzy van der Ligt i wasn't convinced. No, not for me. 

Well that changed... 

I am looking all my life for the perfect sandels to wear in the summer: stylish, elegant and sexy. And no high heels. Well, and then i found the Isabel Marant Carol Studded Sandals. I have them in black and ordered them just in white as well. I am hooked on these sandals, cant wait to start wearing them again next summer!

Traingl is a Neoprene bikini made from Micro-Mesh underwear. You can only buy it from their own exclusive website http://international.triangl.com/. The brand is from Australia. For an affordable $79,- you can pick your bikini (top & bottom) you want.  Triangl has different styles en colours. Our favourite is the Miami Mint in neon.

Deborah Weinberger is back with an amazing collection of bracelets for this summer!

Mixing gold, silver and glitter on bright colors like pink, purple and much more! I am still in love with the Neon ones that i bought in Ibiza last year. The bracelets are originally from Vietnam and cost euro 50,- per 3. Wich one is your favourite?

In Love: Isabeli Fontana for H&M

Recently I was stepping inside the H&M store to check out their new collections for the summer. After a few blouses which i bought there, i find out that they got a few nice things for summer. I never knew that there is a very nice collection with supermodel Isabeli Fontana that is called Boho Chic. She looks amazing!

Studded Blouse: A Fashion musthave!

I am a little tired of always wearing a trendy jacket when i go out and I recently changed my jackets into a blouse! And especially the studded blouses are my favourite right now. It looks posh and trendy and looks very feminine. So I think a good studded blouse is the new jacket for spring 2013!

INTIMISSIMI - Fall 2012

It has been a while since i have posted about Intimissimi. But.... i am still in love with the brand! I think i have about 20 sets of Intimissimi underwear in my closet! And that number can grow because, in the last few months Intimissimi released a webshop for NL!!!! (And many more countries around europe). 

If you want to go to a Intimissimi shop nearby the Netherlands you can go to Wijnegem Shopping Center (nearby Antwerp- Belgium). I am going Saturday to check out the Fall collection!

FOREVER 21 & Abercrombie & Fitch naar Amsterdam!!!

NiceNice!!! De Amerikaanse modeketen Abercrombie & Fitch (A&F), bekend van de reclames met afgetrainde mannenlijven, komt naar Amsterdam! Dit najaar opent de keten zijn eerste Nederlandse vestiging in het oude Metz & Co-gebouw op de hoek van de Leidsestraat en de Keizersgracht. 

En of dit nog niet genoeg is. Onlangs werd ook bekend dat een andere grote Amerikaanse modeketen, Forever21, naar Nederland komt. Amsterdam welteverstaan! De keten, die goedkope kleding verkoopt a la Primark, opent eind 2013 in het pand Rokin Plaza (met een ingang aan de Kalverstraat én Rokin) zijn eerste Nederlandse vestiging. Shopze! :-)

Fashion Finds for June 2012

Just had a few days off and was enjoying the wonderfull summer weather here in Amsterdam. In between i also did a little shopping by hitting the stores in de Kalverstraat (Kalverstreet). A lot of fluor and aztec print were in the stores. I brought a aztec skirt and a studded blazer at the Zara.

Silk SCARF dress

What's our favorite part about summer? Dresses of course! We're seriously craving summer sundresses right now, and we fell in love with these beautiful Silk Scarf dresses. At the moment, here in Amsterdam, all the big department stores have one in the collection (Zara, Mango, H&M, etc). Great way to add some colour into your wardrobe!

Biker jacket

 One of my all time favorites are Biker jackets! 

And then i mean the Danie Bles for Fab Suede ones. I only think €450,- is a little too much for the jacket. 

So, I just found a good rip-off at the local Hema. For only €50,- I found a real leather jacket and its good price-quality ratio. Can you see the difference??? ;-)

Blake Lively in Burberry trenchcoat

When i saw Blake Lively for the first time in this trenchcoat on the set of Gossip Girl, i just fell in love with it! The perfect color and the fabric (linnen) with the stones on the shoulder looks so stylish and Va va vooooom! After a while i find out that this coat is from the new collection of Burberry Prorsum. And it retails for € 6.000,-

.... Never mind, i hope i can find a good look-a-like at Zara or Mango soon. In the meanwhile, i keep on dreaming of the beautiful Burberry..

STYLEFILE: Estelle Gullit

Estelle Gullit is the famous niece of retired soccer player Johan Cruijff, and the wife of soccer trainer Ruud Gullit. Estelle is a societylady here in the Netherlands. With great stylish outfits and beautiful (gold) jewellery and hair/ make-up that is done by Leco van Zadelhoff, she always looks amazing. And what i like most about her, in the summer in Ibiza, she still manages to look fashion-casual-chic.

Creative Sushi?

I seem to eat a lot of sushi the last few months. After recently looking for a new place to explore in Amsterdam, I was reminded by a friend of the beautiful sushi art of chef Ken Kawasumi. He transforms the simple sushi roll (maki-zushi) into an designed masterpiece. How cute are the Panda and the flower sushi's! I wil try to make this by myself sometimes to interest my little cousins into sushi! 

Antik Batik - Bohemian Chic!

Can't wait until the new 2012 Summer collection for Antik Batik. Last year Antik Batik (original from France) had colorful outfits that enhanced your wardrobe with cheerful grooves. I am a fan of the dresses and bags that you can mix/match with different fabrics and prints for the multicolored fashion trend. Take a sneek peek of the collection from last year. Hope the new 2012 collection has the same WOW-factor!

 

 

I love Diptyque...

 

Maybe its because of the very cold evenings ouside here in Amsterdam and that i wanted to stay in my house with a lot of candles burning. For the candles I prefer Diptyque. Diptyque is really one luxury that comes back to time and time again! Their products are the finest with great smell. My favourite scent is Baies. I love it. And when the candle is emtpy, i re-use it in the bathroom for my make-up brushes!

Prada, Prada & Prada!!!!

My motto is always: "The Devil Wears Prada!"

Just because i like the expression and i am a big fan of the beautiful Prada bags (and the movie ofcourse ;-).The new Prada SS 2012 collection is wonderful and all about the pastels, soft tones and nice coulorful bags. In the new collection Prada uses a lot of neutural colors and here and then a bright color to spice it up! I especially like the clutches sunglasses, accessoires and the bags.

Nederlandse Vogue

Het modetijdschrift Vogue komt in 2012 met een Nederlandse uitgave.

Het nieuws hing al een tijdje in de lucht, eind november maakte G+J Uitgevers bekend dat het Vogue Nederland, een licentie van Condé Nast International, in 2012 gaat uitgeven. Hoofdredacteur is Karin Swerink, voorheen hoofdredacteur van de Nederlandse editie van Glamour.

Wanneer het eerste nummer verschijnt in Nederland is nog niet bekend en we zijn ook erg benieuwd wie er op de cover komt te staan... We doen een gok: Doutzen!? 

NEW: Cuplé Shoes in Rotterdam

Cuplé is een Spaanse kleding & schoenenketen met een hoog fashion gehalte en ook nog eens zeer betaalbaar.. Niet zo gek dat het zo populair is in Spanje en ver daarbuiten, want de schoenenlijn is werkelijk "Amazing". Je herkent de Cuplé schoenen aan de bekende roze zool. Veel bekende Nederlanders zijn al gespot met een Cuplé: Tatjana Simic en modemeisje met een missie Maria Tailor.

Inmiddels is de eerste Nederlandse Cuplé winkel geopend in het Centrum van Rotterdam, op de Karel Doormanstraat. De winkel is zeker de moeite waard om een keer langs te gaan.

Een van mijn dagelijkse bezigheden is o.a. het bezoeken van uber-fashion blogger Chiara, oftewel: The Blonde Salad. Hoewel ze soms iets teveel haar eigen schoenenlijn promoot en verkoopt, is er met de stijl van fashionalista echt helemaal niks mis. Sterker nog, ze heeft inspirerende ideeen en een mooie (onbetaalbare) stijl van diverse hippe designers. Wil jij ook eens kijken wie de blonde Italiaanse Chiara is? From Tiffany to Fendi

Wat een keuzes.. Al een tijdje zit ik te dubben over een mooie en aparte bedel voor om mijn nek. Mijn oog viel al een behoorlijke tijd op de mooie Tiffany Key pendant. Alleen er was één maar: de prijs. Zelf zonder diamandjes is de Tiffany pendant nog even out-of-my budget. Dus verder zoeken. En ik kwam op een onverwacht leuke website en collectie van Fendi terecht! Wat een gave collectie en de goudkleurige bedels zijn erg cute. Zie hierboven mijn "Likes".

NARS!

Oei, wat een juweeltjes de super make-up producten van NARS. Wij zijn zelf gebruiker van The Multiple stick (Orgasm) en hebben de blusher, bronzer en Multi Palette voor ogen en lips. Vorrheen waren de prducten gewoon in de winkel verkrijgbaar (Sephora en Skins), maar helaas nu is NARS nergens meer te vinden.. Gelukkig is er het world wide web.
